My Story
Treston J. Henderson, hailing from Oak Ridge, TN, is a multifaceted performer and passionate advocate for diversity in the arts. Growing up as one of five siblings, Treston’s journey took a transformative turn after earning his BFA from Austin Peay State University during the Covid-19 pandemic. Shortly after, he moved to New York City to begin rehearsals for the First National Tour of Ain’t Too Proud: The Life & Times of the Temptations.

Treston’s career has quickly flourished, with notable performances on Broadway and in regional theaters across the country. Select acting credits include playing Drifter in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Broadway at Music Circus), Richie in A Chorus Line (The Rev Theatre Co.), and A Christmas Story (The Goodspeed). In addition to his theater work, Treston has performed at renowned venues nationwide, including Carnegie Hall, The Met Gala 2024, Wells Fargo Center (as a 76ers National Anthem Singer), 54 Below, Greenroom 42, and more.

Beyond performance, Treston is deeply committed to creating spaces for people of color to express themselves through talent. This passion led him to establish Treston J. Henderson Productions, a vibrant production company dedicated to fostering an environment of love, respect, and inclusivity. Treston’s core values of love, courage, kindness, and respect are central to the mission of his company, which strives to ensure that everyone, regardless of background, feels seen, valued, and appreciated.
He continues to thank God for all of the blessings and favor he has placed upon his life. Philippians 4:13
